This is my newest creation. Although it is not quite the finished product, I will update with that version as soon as I can. I have had people on Istock request this type of character more than once, so if it does well, I might have to do more poses of him.

Here's the completed Snowboarder that I sketched earlier. This one took me longer than the others, but the time was well worth it for me. Although I can always find things that can be improved upon, I am happy with this illustration.

Thumbs Up Cartoon Character Sketch

This is a sketch I drew a few months back. I never finished it, but I think I like it enough that I will have to. I know its a bit static compared to the snowboarder, and I probably will change that a bit too. Comments are welcome! After all, I am forever honing my skills and looking for new ideas.

Posting Artwork

Okay, so it's been at least 6 months since I have updated this blog and one of the reasons for that is I have not been drawing, sculpting or anything related to art until very recently. I found my IstockPhoto uploads have been doing very well as of late, though. It has sparked in me the desire to add more vector art there so I will be adding new images, hopefully very soon. Perhaps some of the preliminary sketches will be posted real soon. My goal has been to make art that will touch on different people's interests and, most recently I have started sketches of a graffiti artist and of snowboarders. Hopefully those will do well.
